A scenic 25-minute ride later, I arrived at Ozen Reserve Bolifushi and was greeted with a White Lotus-style Maldivian welcome ceremony—flower petals, drumming, and umbrellas—setting the tone immediately.

We savored Middle Eastern flavors at Sangu Beach, complete with shisha and belly dancing under starlit skies—a festive finale to the day.
Day Three: Serenity Before Departure
An early morning floating meditation and gong-bath at the serene main pool was a magical start. The island’s main pool is quiet—guests prefer their private pools—making this extra peaceful. I then snorkeled right from the villa beach—colorful reef fish, vibrant coral, the hum of the ocean—it reset my soul.

The rest of the trip was filled with sunshine, blue skies, and warm tropical breezes. It was a perfect reminder that even in the off-peak season, the Maldives can be an absolute dream.
