So, I hear you are looking for a holiday. Well, you have come to the right person.

My name is Punam Verma, and I am an ex BBC Journalist from Birmingham in the UK.

So how did a News Journalist become a Travel Counsellor you may ask. Well, growing up in the UK, Europe was only a hop, skip and jump away. So, every 2 months I would jump on a plane and visit another city.

Then a miracle happened. I was hosting my BBC Radio show and came across a message in my junk email. I was about to delete it, but my gut whispered – ‘Open it’.

So, I did. It was a job advert for a TV Host in Dubai. Two weeks later I was presenting the first ever English travel and lifestyle show on Dubai One TV called Out & About.

Let’s just say I was getting paid to be a tourist in the UAE. My job involved visiting and staying at hundreds of hotels across the UAE, trying all the fun and extreme activities in Dubai, and interviewing every A list celebrity that came into town. And yes, I do have lots of juicy gossip about all the celebrities I have met :)

Next, I decided to create, host, produce and film my own travel show called SOUL traveller for SKY TV. It was a lot of work, but I wanted to create a travel show that focused on health, wellness and spirituality.

I filmed a water therapy called wata-flow in Ibiza that releases stuck emotions. I visited an elephant sanctuary in Thailand, filmed a frog medicine ceremony called Kambo, and even interviewed the amazing Deepak Chopra.

The whole goal of my show was to starve the ego and feed the SOUL.

So, as you can see, travel isn’t just my passion, it has been my life’s work. And now it’s my turn to help and inspire you for your next adventure.

As the saying goes: You don’t need magic to disappear, you just need a destination. So what will your next destination be?
