Fes, the major city of the Arab-Muslim civilisation, is the most complete Islamic medieval city in the world. It keeps traces of every dynasty. You can visit Fes El Bali (old) and Fes El Jedid (new) with the famous Koranic schools Medersa Bou Inania & Medersa Attarine and the Mosque Karaouiyine, as well as the Nejjarine fountain and the Souks & the Tanners’ district where you can take pictures of a world of colours and discover the traditional techniques to work leather.
