Beaches and culture of the Mediterranean

Lounge on the beaches of Italy, France and Malta in between soaking up the culture and history of these storied countries. Following your departure from Valletta you’ll spend a day at sea before arriving on the island of Corsica to wander along its palm-lined promenade and pastel-hued shopping streets. Head to the local marketplace to pick up local handicrafts and souvenirs of your visit. Your first stop in mainland France brings you to the relatively unknown resort of Villefranche; where a short walk along its narrow, cobbled streets is sure to have you stumble upon a quiant local café or chic boutique. During your time in Italy, you’ll visit the bustling port town of Livorno and the Eternal City of Rome on a trip from the port of Civitavecchia.

Your ship, Azura, perfectly balances opportunity for some quality time as a family with the chance to be independent. In the evenings, gather to watch a cabaret show in Manhattan, a musical and dance production in The Playhouse Theatre, or an open-air cinema screening at SeaScreen. In the day, as the kids enjoy the fun at The Reef kids’ club, parents can unwind with an alfresco spa treatment at The Retreat under one of the shaded cabanas with personal wait service.
