DAY 1 – ARRIVAL TO CUBA – HAVANA

DAY 2 – HAVANA
City Tour Colonial Havana - Walk in the footsteps of Havana´s colonial past visiting the four key squares of Old Havana, a UNESCO world heritage site. Visit Plaza de Armas, Plaza San Francisco de Asis, Plaza Vieja and Plaza de la Cathedral with our expert guide offering insightful history along the way. This is a walking tour and takes approximately 2 hours. Restaurant Reservation at Doña Eutimia. An elaborate ambience, a fresh and functional design and a privileged location are attributes that allow this restaurant to offer both comfort and good food. Situated in the heart of Old Havana – it is the perfect place to people-watch. 

DAY 3 – HAVANA
Hemingway Tour in Classic American Car - Gertrude Stein, the celebrated American writer, once said that Hemingway had a good nose for finding good places to live and eat. She wasn’t wrong at all, as Hemingway’s villa on the outskirts of Havana proves. Located on a hill and surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and a magnificent view of the city in the distance, the house was visited by numerous renowned celebrities during the 1940s and ´50s. Today it is exactly as Hemingway left it in 1960, - hundreds of personal belongings, his large swimming pool, the Wheeler boat he used for fishing, the three-story tower with its spectacular views and much more.

Our expert guide, a retired professor of English literature at the University of Havana, will show you around and share with you interesting insights into the life of Hemingway and that period in Cuban history. On the way back to town, your guide will bring you to see Cojimar fishing village: a small picturesque town that inspired Hemingway to write the novel 'The Old Man and the Sea', and whose fishermen he dedicated his Nobel Prize to. As you finish the tour you will have an opportunity to see some of the most spectacular views of the city from the El Morro fort across the harbour from Havana. This tour takes approximately 4 hours and is done in a convertible
classic American car from the 1950's.

DAY 4 – HAVANA
Cigar Factory Tour in Havana - Admire the skill with which the experts hand-roll those famous Montecristos and Cohibas at one of Havana’s oldest cigar factories.

Ballet Rehearsal - Visit the morning rehearsal of the national ballet company. Although photos are not officially permitted, you will be
able to take a few discreet ones as moments of your visit. Restaurant Reservation at Waoo. A lively restaurant for a light dinner in the heart of bustling Vedado. It's located near to the TV and Radio stations and
Cuban celebrities often come for a bite. 

DAY 5 – HAVANA
Revolution Tour - Discover Cuba’s revolutionary history through some of the capital’s most historical sites. Starting with a panoramic
trip along the Malecón where you will see the monuments of some of Cuba's Independence War heroes, discover how the story then brought the country to the revolution led by Fidel Castro. Visit the Revolution Museum, which was once the luxurious Presidential Palace of all Cuban presidents from Mario García Menocal to Fulgencio Batista. Stop by
Hotel Sevilla in Old Havana to see and learn about the most famous mob men in Cuba who had Havana under control until 1959. Visit what most non-Cubans will never get to know, a “bodega”, one of the governmental markets used for the distribution of rationed low-priced food products to the Cuban people and see the price differences by visiting a fresh food product market (Mercado Agropecuario). Finish the tour with some city sightseeing at Revolution Square, symbol
of the Cuban socialist revolution.

DAY 6 – HAVANA - VIÑALES
Your driver at your disposal will collect you and transfer you to Viñales.
Viñales Valley Roots/ Raíces del Valle. Lunch included Your local guide will welcome you to the main square of Vinales town, where you will get general information about its origin and the most outstanding buildings. Then you will leave behind the busy town to go straight ahead to the quietness of a viewpoint located 250 meters ASL in the cradle of the project “Casa Taller Raices” where you’ll learn about the genius of a farmer through his art while enjoying a delicious cocktail. Afterwards, you’ll hike/walk along Vinales Valley, a Cultural Heritage Site to amaze yourself with the unique landscapes, flora, fauna and the farmer’s culture of working the fields, emphasizing tobacco, from the seeds to the puff! On the trail, you’ll also enjoy a delicious
traditional meal. Note. You will be able to decide the distance and level of difficulty of the hike/walk.

DAY 7 – VIÑALES – CIENAGA DE ZAPATA – PLAYA GIRÓN
Tour Enigma de La Roca - Take a ride on a horse and cart into the protected woodland area of the Cienega Zapata. Then continue on foot (about 3km total) with your guide as he explains the unique geology and ecology of this vast national park. You'll get a chance to do some bird watching - some of the most important national species live in this area and there is also a visit to a special reserve which protects turtles. You might even get to see the famous Cuban
species known as Jutia (Tree Rat). Make sure you wear mosquito repellent!!

DAY 8 – PLAYA GIRÓN - CIENFUEGOS
Snorkelling at Playa Girón - For those who are looking for underwater adventure, Ronel is a certified Dive Guide and SCUBA Instructor who has been diving professionally since 1986. He leads snorkelling adventures for every level of experience. His passion is
sharing the pristine underwater world of Playa Girón, one of Cuba's best-kept secrets! (Ronel makes his house available for a shower afterwards.)

Cienfuegos City Tour - This city tour includes a visit to Jose Marti Park with an explanation of the history and architectural style, a visit to
Tomas Terry Theatre, local markets around the Boulevard and a visit to Palacio del Valle. 

DAY 9 – CIENFUEGOS - TRINIDAD
Trinidad City Tour - This walking tour offers you an introduction to Trinidad a UNESCO world heritage site. Our local expert guide will talk
you through the history of the town by visiting its architectural high points and give you some insight into its complex history both in the colonial period and in the years after the revolution. Wear comfortable shoes, as although quaint, the cobbled streets are not for heels!

Tour of Sugar Plantations and Slave History - Today you will take a tour of the local sugar plantations to understand the slave history of the sugar industry. See slave quarters and understand how this system operated and the enormous impact sugar had on this
area. See the working plantation homes of the sugar barons.

DAY 10 – TRINIDAD – TOPES DE COLLANTES - TRINIDAD
Topes de Collantes Day Tour - The great natural park Topes de Collantes is situated between Playa Girón and Trinidad. It's s place of extraordinary beauty and great scientific value for Cuban botany, zoology and ecology. This protected area of 200 square km has
a great number of endemic species of flora and fauna. On this trip, you'll get to hike and bathe in one of the three big
waterfalls in the national park.

DAY 11 – TRINIDAD - VARADERO
Check-in at one of only a few 5-star Cuban beach hotels, although large, the Paradisus Princesa del Mar offers guests modern and
stylish accommodation on Cuba’s best beach. This hotel is both adults-only and all-inclusive (there are only all-inclusive options on the Cuban beach). However, the hotel does offer guests access to a pristine stretch of beach, a spa and a range of restaurants serving international food. It is a good option to relax after a busy time taking in the Cuban sites. The resort also offers a Royal Service section, where guests access their own butler service, restaurant, pool area and check-in. 

DAY 12 – 16 - VARADERO

DAY 17 - VARADERO - HAVANA
Check-in at one of the most luxurious 5-star international hotels in the city, the Parque Central has 427 rooms divided into two interconnecting buildings. Its modern and somewhat lavish architectural style still conserves certain traits of the colonial buildings found in Old Havana. It offers the most lavish views of Havana at any of its two terraces and tropical bars, with a swimming pool located on the top floor of the hotel, exclusively for hotel guests.
