M6m

The resort lures foodies with its included dine-around experience, featuring treats ranging from champagne breakfasts to haute cuisine, including Sri Lankan, Indian and Maldivian fare in atmospheric IndoCeylon. The most famous of its restaurants, M6m – so named for being six metres below the water’s surface – is a place to feast on local seafood as colourful marine life flutters around you, but the heart of the resort is the Joie de Vivre pool bar and pizzeria with its signature cocktails, Champagne on pour and delicious snacks accompanied by some of the best sunset views in the South Malé Atoll.

Why not try 'Gin Is In' a Sundowner Adults-only bar with over 18 kinds of rare and exquisite Gin brands offering diverse herbal, organic, and exotic flavours along with a wide selection of tonics.

Away from the luscious bars and restaurants, you'll receive daily minibar replenishments allowing you to indulge in the comfort of your own room.

Activities

There's plenty to do for all ages and tastes. The PADI dive school and water-sports centre runs trips to spectacular dive locations to get up close with manta rays, whale sharks and shipwrecks, with guests staying four nights or longer able to opt for a free dive. There's also an array of exciting complimentary non-motorised water sports including kayaking, pedal-boating, SUP paddleboarding and windsurfing. Guests have the option of paying a bit extra to try out thrilling motorised water sports: sea bob, jet skiing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, fun tubing, banana-boat riding and flyboarding.

There’s plenty of snorkelling fun to be had right from the beach, the joy of guests of all ages. But you can also take advantage of complimentary twice-daily trips to nearby snorkelling sites to swim near nurse sharks, stingrays and sea turtles. Or, you can hop aboard the semi-submarine, SUB-ZEN, to explore the dazzling reef.

If you come with children, the little gem of a kids’ club will keep them well entertained while you sneak in some time at the sleek spa with its 100% organic treatments including traditional Ayurvedic therapies and bath rituals. On stays of four nights and up, guests are invited to choose and customise their own Naturopathic Wellness Journey under the guidance of expert practitioners and therapists.

Why you should consider Thailand during green season

31 August 2026

When most people think of Thailand, they picture the dry, busy months - the packed beaches, the long queues at temples, the peak-season prices. But, outside of these peak months, Thailand’s green season reveals a softer, more atmospheric side of the country. The landscapes deepen in colour, the pace eases, and familiar places begin to feel more spacious, from temple courtyards and hillside trails to palm-fringed beaches.

Where to stay in the Algarve, from villas to boutique retreats

Choosing where to stay can completely change the feel of an Algarve holiday. Beyond the region’s larger resorts, there are whitewashed villas overlooking the Atlantic, converted village houses in the countryside, intimate design hotels, and peaceful coastal retreats. From the fishing village of Salema to the quieter landscapes around Vila do Bispo and Lagos, these four stays each offer their own take on southern Portugal, whether you want the freedom of a villa, easy access to the beach, or somewhere small and characterful to come back to after a day exploring.
