Brazil offers a stunning mix of natural wonders, bustling cities, and some of the best beaches in the world. Cities like Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paolo offer a dizzying array of cultural activities, while the abundant wildlife of the Amazon rainforest is an experience like no other.
Best time to visit Brazil
The weather in Brazil varies greatly from city to city because of the country’s huge size. Brazil can be visited year-round, but in August and September the temperatures are moderate and relatively dry in most of the country. For the Pantanal and the Amazon the best time is the dry season from June to September.
Recommended length of stay: Brazil is vast – ensure you stay at least two nights in Rio de Janeiro, but don’t miss the chance to explore the Amazon rainforest and Brazil’s golden sandy beaches on a longer stay
Local currency: Brazilian Real (BRL)
