Touring Holidays Through Europe

Touring holidays in Europe are a brilliant way of taking in an array of different destinations and sights in style and comfort, with most aspects of your trip taken care of - the majority of meals, accommodation, transfers, flights, a chauffeur service or airport parking, and the services of a tour manager

Sardinia's Emerald Coast (Costa Smeralda)

Highlights of this week in the Med include meeting local weavers, feasting on the typical Sardinian fare at a farmhouse, and discovering the artists’ village and market of San Pantaleo. But Sardinia is also about yachts and designer boutiques, and you’ll stay on an exclusive stretch of coast in a hotel with a private bay and sea-view terraces overlooking the sea.

You’ll have plenty of time for exploring under your own steam, and there are tempting optional excursions to consider, including a cruise to the rocky archipelago of La Maddalena, a visit to the megalithic site of Nuraghe La Prisgiona and a tasting at a winery.

The Best of Switzerland

This tour really does pack in the highlights of this gorgeous country, with rides on the historic, iconic Bernina Express to Tirano, Glacier Express (the world’s slowest express train) to Brig and Golden Pass train to Montreux. There are also visits to the Trümmelbach Falls, '007 Mountain' and Mürren, a James Bond martini brunch in the revolving restaurant of the Schilthorn, and a Lake Thun cruise and stop-off at Spiez Castle.

This itinerary will take you through Switzerland’s untouched landscapes, dotted by romantic castles and elegant towns. The Bernina Express alone takes you through 55 tunnels and across 196 bridges and the Brusio viaduct. Delicious cuisine en route includes a three-course meal on-board the Bernina Express. Accommodation is in characterful hotels in Davos, Interlaken and Lausanne.

Amalfi Coast, Pompeii & Capri

This action-packed week immerses you in Italian culture and history as well as treating you to some of the finest cuisines on the planet. Highlights include wandering the ruins of Vesuvius-ravaged Pompeii, a boat trip to the chic island and jet setters' favourite of Capri, a tasting of the classic Italian liqueur limoncello in Sorrento, a winery visit in the Amalfi Hills, a lunch of local cheese, salami and wines in a mountain hut, and a meal in a local pizzeria. There’s also an optional excursion to Positano with its pastel-coloured houses clinging to the tumbling cliffsides, its designer boutiques and its beaches. Your base will be the charming village of Minori on the picture-postcard Amalfi Coast, in a former Roman villa with a pool and delicious Mediterranean cuisine.

A Week in Andalucia

Sightseeing in the city of Cordoba, exploring the regional capital Seville and experiencing one of its best tapas bars, and touring Granada, the Alhambra Palace and the Generalife Gardens are all on the agenda when you sign up for this relaxing week discovering the very best that Andalucía has to offer. There are also optional excursions to the cliff-top fortress town of Ronda and Picasso’s birthplace Malaga.

You’ll be based at medieval Antequera, a comfortable four-star hotel with an outside pool perfect for stretching your limbs.
