Day 1 | 50 km
WINDHOEK

After you arrive at the international airport you are met by your local travel consultant who will go through your safari and assist with any questions you might have. After collecting your rental vehicle you continue onwards to Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, Your guesthouse is situated in a quiet residential suburb and it is close to the city centre with its Afro-European flair and peaceful atmosphere. After checking in you have time to explore what Namibia’s capital has to offer

Day 2-3 | 270 km
KALAHARI DESERT

Head out south to the Kalahari Desert, which the Bushmen refer to it as the “Soul of the World”. During your two-day stay, enjoy the opportunity to experience the red dunes, wildlife and plants, in this desert environment on an optional nature drive. Enjoy your time at leisure in the dune landscape of the Kalahari Desert.

Day 4-5 | 350 km
NAMIB DESERT

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before you travel across vast open plains to your lodge in the Namib Desert. The next morning, enter the Namib Naukluft National Park shortly after sunrise, you will be captivated by the surreal Deadvlei surrounded by some of the highest dunes on earth and Sossusvlei. Walk up one of these majestic dunes to admire the desert landscape beneath. Afterwards, visit the Sesriem Canyon, before returning to your lodge. The afternoons can be spent relaxing at the sparkling pool or taking part in optional activities.

Day 6-8 | 360 km
SWAKOPMUND

After another spectacular sunrise, travel alongside rugged yet liberating scenery to Swakopmund. Your family-friendly guesthouse is situated in a quiet residential suburb of Swakopmund. Swakopmund is thus fondly referred to as the “playground of Namibia”, it has numerous activities. Take time to get the feel of this quaint town or take part in one of the many activities the town has to offer.

Day 9 | 260 km
ERONGO

Our journey continues into the Erongo Region. En route you can divert your trip via the Erongo Mountain range. From our Lodge, we can follow a short walking trail to visit a living museum of the San to learn and participate in some of their ancient skills. The rest of the afternoon is spent at leisure.

Day 10-11 | 300 km
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you head north to for an unforgettable wildlife adventure awaiting us over the following days. Reaching the Etosha National Park, you can immediately head out onto your first game viewing experience, exploring the natural and manmade waterholes in the vicinity of Okaukuejo before leaving the park at sunset to check into your lodge close to the park’s border.

Day 12-13 | 200 km
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

The next two days are devoted purely to the abundant wildlife found in the Etosha National Park, which surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan. The park is home to 4 of the Big Five – elephant, lion, leopard and rhino. Game viewing in the park is primarily focused around the waterholes, ideal places to sit and watch over 114 different game species and more than 340 bird species. Your family-friendly lodge offers special guided bush walks focusing on children, educating them on all highlights of environmental protection and conservation.

Day 14 | 500 km
GREATER WINDHOEK

After breakfast, travel south passing Tsumeb, Otavi, Otjiwarongo and Okahandja towards the foot of the Otjihavera Mountain that borders the northern outskirts of Windhoek. The lodge is home to a vast variety of animal species, that can comfortably be viewed from your room’s terrace or the spacious restaurant deck. Here you and your family can participate in optional nature drives and scenic walks, while the tranquil garden and sparkling pool serve as an excellent hang-out during the heat of the day.

Day 15 | 80 km
DEPARTURE

After a relaxed breakfast, you travel back to Windhoek returning to the airport or your individually booked guesthouse.

Day 4-5 | 480 km
FISH RIVER CANYON

After the Kalahari Desert, travel further south into an area dominated by age-old quiver trees as well as a primordial landscape of gigantic dolerite formations that serve as the perfect location for a session of “hide and seek”! Your accommodation for the evening, situated further south close to the Fish River Canyon, offers wonderful walking trails. The following morning, you can visit the Fish River Canyon, the second-largest canyon on Earth.

Day 6 | 310 km
LUDERITZ

After breakfast, we proceed onwards heading towards the coastal town of Lüderitz. On the way to Lüderitz, we can stop at Garub, which is the viewing point for the Wild Horses of the Namib Desert. Arriving in Lüderitz we head towards the coastline and take an optional scenic route along the “Große Bucht”, enjoying the fresh sea breeze, before checking in to our guesthouse
