The most well-known about this temple is that the statue of Kuan-in survived the bombing during the air raid in 1945.

After that, we will take a walk along Wanhua Herb Alley, which is just around the corner from Longshan Temple. It is a small alley with shops that sell all types of herbs for more than 100 years. Do not miss the opportunity to try some Chinese herbal drinks!

Then we will drive past the Presidential Office, a baroque-style building built in the 1910s. It is also a symbolic landmark and historical site in Taipei City. Day 5: Taipei

Today your guide will meet you at 06:30 am in the hotel lobby to start your tours. And you’ll take the bullet train to Hualien to visit the Taroko Gorge Park.

There will be 3 attractions will be visited. The description as below:

Taroko (Marble) Gorge: Taroko became a national park in 1986, including Hualien County, Nantou County and Taichung City. Taroko is famous for its spectacular mountains and marble canyons. Cliffs and canyons stretch along the Liwu River. Four million years ago, the island of Taiwan was formed by the collision of plates. After millions of years of wind erosion, the marble rocks were exposed and cut by the Liwu River, creating impressive grand canyons. From Qingshui to Nanhu Peak, the drop height is 3,742 meters. Such special geography has also bred special flora and fauna in this area.

Shakadang Trail: is also known as "Mysterious Valley Trail" and was renamed to "Shakadang Trail" in 2001. This trail is built along the river cliff so travellers can easily observe both the rock folds and plant ecosystem beside the river valley.

Changchun Temple: commemorates the 226 personnel (military veterans) who died during the construction of the Central Cross-Island Highway (1956~1960).

Swallow Caves: Following the Central Cross-Island Highway, at Swallow Grotto, the rock cliffs of the Liwu River gorge seem to reach heaven while the river runs its swiftest and the distance between the gorge walls so narrow that they almost seem to touch each other. Along the Swallow Grotto trail which runs about a half kilometre starting from the entrance to Swallow Grotto to the Jinheng Bridge, you can enjoy the sights of the Liwu River from nearly straight above the water, the potholes on the cliff faces, the springs sprinkled along the lower parts of the walls, as well as the famous rock formation "Chieftain's profile rock".

Tianxiang: is a large river terrace recreational area in Taroko National Park. Dasha River and Taci Jili River converge at Tianxiangto become the Liwu River.

After the visit, you’ll take the train back to Taipei.

Day 6: Taipei

After breakfast, be picked up by the guide and driver for a tour of well-known spots in Taipei City.

The first stop is one of the most-visited museums in the world – the National Palace Museum. This museum houses nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese artworks from multiple dynasties. Besides the permanent exhibits, there are temporary exhibits from time to time. The Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum in Chiayi City was established in 2015, and aimed to balance cultural resources between north and south of Taiwan.

Next, enjoy a nostalgic walk along Dadaocheng Dihua Old Street. This historic area prospered during the 19th century from the export of Taiwanese tea. Today, the young generations bring a diversity of different cultures into this old town, integrate the old and new lifestyle and make it a stunning blend: the hipster coffee shops, the modernised handicraft shops…

After that visit one of the oldest night markets in Taipei – Ningxia Night Market. Here you will have a great opportunity to taste different types of authentic street foods, such as oyster omelettes, minced pork rice, taro cake and many more to fill the appetite
