Staycationing in Fujairah

I spent the last weekend enjoying the 1st anniversary of Intercontinental Fujairah. I hadn’t been to Fujairah in a few years, so it was great to see a new property and enjoy seeing mountains again!

The Intercontinental is placed conveniently next to the Miramar & Meridien Al Aqah, with easy access to Snoopy Island for snorkeling and diving.

My first impressions of the room were corporate, maybe lacking a bit of warmth but the hotel soon won me over with excellent service and facilities.

I would highly recommend booking the Executive Club Rooms as they come with excellent amenities such as a private pool, complimentary afternoon tea. The Executive Club lounge is an ideal place to enjoy a few drinks in the evening over a game of pool. The spa is run by L’Occitane and smells divine.

The hotel has an excellent beach club and 2 pools, one is more family orientated and the other slightly quieter.
