If you can prise yourself away from the Seychelles’ picture-perfect powder white beaches, lace up your walking boots and enjoy an island adventure as you explore the Copolia trail in the Morne Seychellois National Park.
Take this shady walk through the Morne Seychellois National Park and discover a variety of interesting wildlife and some truly stunning scenery. After dropping down into the valley, enjoy a relatively steady climb of some 450 feet up onto a huge expanse of granite rock. Copolia is 500 metres above sea level and offers spectacular views over the east coast of Mahe and the Seychelles archipelago.
Discover plants and animals unique to the Seychelles, including the insectivorous Pitcher Plants, which can be seen in higher sections of the trail. As most of the trail is through forest, this walk can be tackled at any time of the day. Allow four hours for the trail and be sure to make some time for picnicking and exploring at the summit!
