Not to miss

When it comes to excitement and adventure, Orlando is the place to be. With so many action packed places to visit, world-famous attractions, gorgeous sunshine and a huge helping of American hospitality... what’s not to love? For many, a holiday in Orlando would not be complete without a trip to the world-famous Walt Disney World but Universal Orlando Resort is another dazzling destination that’s not to be missed. With The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal's Volcano Bay Water Theme Park and the Islands of Adventure to name only a few, this should definitely be on your Orlando to-do list. The International Drive area is another place for fun and excitement, with world-class attractions, entertainment, dining and shopping for all the family. Carrying on with the shopping theme, Orlando Vineyard Premium Outlets and Orlando International Premium Outlets are the perfect spots to indulge in some serious retail therapy.

When it comes to food, there’s always something to tantalise your taste buds in Orlando. For some fresh seafood and succulent steaks, Eddie V's Prime Seafood offers an exceptional dining experience complete with live jazz and expertly-crafted cocktails. Chatham's Place Restaurant is known as one of the top places to dine in Orlando and is situated on the city’s famed ‘Restaurant Row’. Another place worth visiting on ‘Restaurant Row’ is Seito Sushi. Serving delicious fresh sashimi and nigiri, signature rolls, seasonal Izakaya offerings, hand-pulled noodles, rustic Japanese dishes and Omakase experiences, this eatery has received several accolades and it’s not hard to see why. If you can’t get enough of this amazing place, Seito Sushi also has another location in the city, at Baldwin Park near the Downtown district

Live like a local

Whilst you may not think it, Orlando isn’t all about its theme parks! If you’re looking for an arts and culture fix, head to the Orange County city of Winter Park, situated to the north of Orlando. Home to the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of Natural Art, you’ll also find over 70 parks and plenty of boutique shops on Park Avenue. Downtown Orlando also offers visitors plenty of things to see and do, with a wealth of restaurants, nightlife and shopping to enjoy. It’s also home to the huge Amway Center sports arena and the Orlando Science Centre. For first timers to the area, be sure to start at Church Street. It’s home to some of the city’s best restaurants, a buzzing nightlife scene and the iconic Railroad Depot.
