Rinjani Mountain, one of the highest volcano (3,726m) in Indonesia, with its Crater Lake - Segara Anak, is a part of the celebrated “Ring of Fire”. The locals of Lombok frequently make rituals visit to Rinjani as it’s considered one of their sacred places. Segara Anak’s hot spring, the steamy Gua Susu, and Pancuran Emas “the golden fountain” are some of the main spots where the locals perform their rituals. For mountain lovers, Rinjani is one of Indonesian most beautiful sites and exhilarating treks.

Start your amazing 7 day adventure by arriving in Lombok Praya International Airport and, after meeting with the guide and driver, receive a private transfer to Sembalun Village, at the foot of the Mount Rinjani.

The trekking guide will collect luggage in the morning for storage at base camp before departing for the trek. It will be transferred to the finish point in Senaru on the last trekking day.

**Day 2: Sembalun Panorama Walk

Get transfer in early morning proceed to the slope of Rinjani Mountain to begin the adventure. Led by local guides, you will have an easy half-day walk exploring the foothills of spectacular Rinjani volcano (3700 meters high).

Starting near the border of Gunung Rinjani National Park, our route follows old pathways through shady bamboo groves and village gardens before entering a wide, open landscape of rice terraces and palms. Following a winding irrigation channel we reach the lush rainforest of the famous Sendang Gile Waterfall Reserve. It’s located 600 meters above sea level which 300 meters down make Sendang Gile become the tallest waterfall in Lombok.

Continue by come to Senaru Traditional Village, where mountain tribes life and civilization of past century still exist as a part of the nature. Each turn of the track offers new vistas as finally Rinjani - the sacred mountain of the Sasak people - emerges majestically above rice terraces and rainforest. Late lunch will be provided at local restaurant upon the trek.

**Day 3: Trek to Mt Rinjani - Timbanuh to Pelawangan Timba Nuh

Start your trekking at 08:00am from Timba Nuh, one of the starting points of Mt Rinjani climbing.

We will begin the trek to Mount Rinjani at the National Park office in Timba Nuh village at 600m above sea level. Here we will register our entrance ticket. Your guide will explain in detail the trek route and safety procedures.

After the registration we will begin our climb. Rest stops will be taken along the way and at Post 2 1,700m above sea level we will have lunch. After lunch we will continue our ascent for another couple of hours through the jungle to Post 3, at 2100m above sea level there are breathtaking views across to the island of Sumbawa (East of Lombok).

After enjoying a rest here, we will continue for a couple of hours through grassy meadows to “Plawangan Timba Nuh”, the crater rim at 2,693m altitude. Below you will see the Sunset as backdrop of amazing Segara Anak Lake and the active new volcano, Mount Baru Jari) which last erupted in 1994.

Back down to the camping ground and here we will eat dinner, enjoy the impressive beauty of the landscape, and spend the night camping.

**Day 4: Trek to Mt Rinjani – Pelawangan – Timba Nuh – Gili Air

Enjoy the Sunrise from your camping ground and enjoy the coffee or tea and take some photos.

The Team will prepare the breakfast for you, enjoy the meal and take time to rest and admire the view on the crater before staring descending down by the same way you climb up.

Stop en route for a last lunch with your local guide team and porter.

Arrival at the Timba Nuh finish point you will be great by your driver, get some cold water and towel.

Say goodbye to the trekking and porter team and transfer in a private vehicle to the harbour for a boat transfer to Gili Air.

**Day 5-7: Leisure Day in Gili Air

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the resort and, after a challenging few days of trekking, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Stroll along the stunning white-sand beaches of the island, go snorkeling in its prismatic waters, or simply kick back and relax at the hotel while sipping coconut juice and soaking up the sun.
